ACCA Qualification
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is one of the world's leading professional accountancy organisations. Its members are internationally recognised in public practice, industry, commerce and the public sector. ACCA membership also allows you to obtain status as a Registered Auditor.

Entry requirements
There are a number of entry routes which take into account previous school leaver and graduate qualifications and allow you to study for the ACCA qualification, provided you are 18 or over.

Exemptions
Relevant graduates may be awarded some exemptions for papers in the Fundamental level. An exemption fee must be paid for each paper awarded. Contact ACCA for further information.

ACCA Course options
LCA offers a diverse range of course options for ACCA students, including full-time, part-time (evening, weekend, day release) and revision.

ACCA Syllabus
ACCA's syllabus, known as the 'ACCA qualification' consists of two levels:
        Fundamentals level (9 papers)
        Professional level (5 papers in total)

ACCA Fundamentals level

The Fundamentals level is grouped in to two sublevels: 

1. Knowledge module (all 3 papers)

  • F1 Accountant in Business 
  • F2 Management Accounting 
  • F3 Financial Accounting

2. Skills module (all 6 papers)

  • F4 Corporate and Business Law
  • F5 Performance Management
  • F6 Taxation
  • F7 Financial Reporting
  • F8 Audit and Assurance 
  • F9 Financial Management

ACCA Professional level

The Professional level is also grouped in to two sublevels:

1. Essentials module (all 3 papers)

  • P1 Governance, Risk & Ethics
  • P2 Corporate Reporting 
  • P3 Business Analysis 

2. Options module (any 2 papers)

  • P4 Advanced Financial Management 
  • P5 Advanced Performance Management 
  • P6 Advanced Taxation
  • P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance
