As International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are becoming increasingly accepted,  finance professionals must understand and be able to implement them.

ACCA's DipIFR 

ACCA introduced the first accredited IFRS qualification in the world - the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR). It is ideal for experienced finance professionals who already hold an  accounting qualification.  In the course of studying for the DipIFR, candidates will:

• understand the international regulatory framework of financial reporting
• be able to apply IASs and IFRSs to practical situations
• train to prepare financial statements in accordance with IASs, IFRSs and pronouncements of the Standing Interpretation Committee
• train to prepare group financial statements including subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures

CPD

In addition, ACCA awards TWO YEARS of verifiable CPD/E to those who pass  the DipIFR exam.

Examination details

The DipIFR examination is held in June and December each year.  ACCA must receive your Registration Form by 15 October.

The registration fee is: £150 (including VAT – one exam attempt)

The diploma consists of one closed book written examination which lasts three hours.

LCA's course 

LCA offers  Diploma and Certificate level courses in International Financial Reporting. These courses will run in the Autumn and the Spring each year and will consist of:
