3. It is the student’s responsibility to register with the University of London.  For all other programmes referred to in paragraph 2 above the College will register the student once enrolment has taken place.

4. Where examination fees are payable to external academic organisations then the College will, where appropriate, collect the fees from the student and pass them on to the appropriate body.  The College does this without responsibility.  It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that deadlines set by the external academic body are met.  Fees due to the University of London must be paid directly by the student to the University.

5. Once letters of confirmation have been issued to third parties confirming full-time status, no refunds or course transfers are permissible other than in the instance of Visa refusal.

Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

8. Bookings for the Oxford Brookes Mentoring Programme relate specifically to the next submission period (as specified by Oxford Brookes University) after the booking date. Bookings cannot be carried forward to a subsequent period. The fee for this Programme includes 3 meetings with a mentor. Where a student is unable to attend a meeting which has been arranged with the mentor, a minimum of 2 days’ notice must be given. Where 2 days’ notice is not given, the College will count the meeting as taking place, and any extra meetings required as a result may be subject to a supplementary charge.

9. Where the fee has been paid in full, a refund less the deposit can be made, provided written notice is received by the College at least two weeks prior to the start date of the first paper booked (except for courses covered in Point 5 of the ‘All Students’ section where no refund can be made). After this date (2 weeks prior to the start date of the first course booked) neither complete nor prorata refunds can be made.

9. For students on Edinburgh Business School (EBS) Courses: LCA, and EBS  work in partnership to deliver the Courses and Programmes. To ensure the Programmes are managed efficiently and students supported effectively, some information recorded as you progress in your studies will be shared between LCA and EBS. EBS will use this information for academic programme management, operational and administration purposes.

10. For students on Edinburgh Business School (EBS) Courses: an examination fee is payable via LCA to EBS.  It is the student's responsibility to pay this fee before the exam entry deadline.  It is the student’s responsibility to pay examinations and other fees associated with being a University of London student directly to that university.
