The ACCA has now fully assessed our Anglia Ruskin University BA(Hons) programmes. The following exemptions are available for graduates:
BA(Hons) Applied Accounting will be eligible for exemption on 9 ACCA papers (ACCA F1 - F9). This programme is one of only a few degrees worldwide that have been awarded the maximum exemption of 9 ACCA papers. The award of 9 exemptions reflects both the academic content of the programme and the confidence that ACCA have in LCA to deliver programmes which are both academically challenging and which prepare students for the technical demands of the ACCA Professional Level papers. 9 exemptions mean that a student can obtain a degree validated by Anglia Ruskin University and pass the ACCA examinations within three years.
Whilst the Applied Accounting degree has been designed for those students who want to become ACCA qualified, ACCA have also recognised the academic and technical benefits of LCA’s other degree programmes
BA(Hons) Applied Public Finance and Accounting will be eligible for exemption on 8 ACCA papers
BA(Hons) International Business Management will be eligible for exemption on 6 ACCA papers

These exemptions will enable graduates from all three degree programmes to complete the remaining ACCA papers within 1 year.
All the degree programmes share a common first year enabling a student the opportunity to switch their degree choice prior to commencing year two of their programme.
LCA offers three degree intakes a year in September, January and May and four ACCA intakes a year in January, March, July and September.
